Firmware Update

Getting your EnergySwitch up to date

This information can also be found as a README text document in the firmware update package
(This file may also contain remarks concerning that specific update)

  1. Make sure that your computer and the EnergySwitch are on the same network and fully functional
  2. When updating to v1.2: Verify that your devices are running the v1.1.0.11 software (Please do not directly update a pre v1.1.0.11 unit to v1.2, this might result in unexpected behaviour)
  3. Unrar the downloaded file to your desktop
  4. Start the "Rboot.exe" application
  5. Enter the IP address of an Energy Switch you wish to update and press Open
  6. After clicking Scan modules (and finding them), load the provided update package:
    • For 1U models: Select the .rup file containing "ES1000 Series"
    • For 0U models: Select the .rup file containing "ES2000-6000 Series"
  7. Verify that all visible modules are selected
  8. Press the Update button and follow the screens
